SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submission Ethics

  • Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out.
  • Results should be presented clearly, honestly, and without fabrication, falsification or inappropriate data manipulation (including image based manipulation). Authors should adhere to discipline-specific rules for acquiring, selecting and processing data.
  • No data, text, or theories by others are presented as if they were the author’s own (‘plagiarism’). Proper acknowledgements to other works must be given (this includes material that is closely copied (near verbatim), summarized and/or paraphrased), quotation marks (to indicate words taken from another source) are used for verbatim copying of material, and permissions secured for material that is copyrighted.

Paper Submission

  • Regular paper submissions are 6 (six) pages maximum (exclusive of bibliography) and 8 (eight) pages maximum (exclusive of bibliography) for review/survey papers. They will be published in the proceedings and one of the registered authors is required to attend the conference to make a full presentation of the work.
  • Papers must be written in English and use standard IEEE two-column conference templates that can be downloaded from ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
  • Please follow the guidance text for composing and formatting conference papers which are included in IEEE conference templates. Also ensure that all template text is removed from your conference paper prior to submission to the conference. Failure to remove the template text from your paper may result in your paper not being published.
  • Only PDF files will be accepted for the review process. We will follow a double-blind review process. All paper submission PDFs must be ANONYMOUS and without author affiliations.
